Music Isn’t Just An Obssession-It’s My Passion: Q&A

For me, music isn’t just an obsession.  Music is my passion and something I treasure!  I am going to do a little Q&A with myself so that you guys can get an idea of how I look at the world of music. 🙂  Here we go!:D

What instrument(s) do you play?

I play piano, and have been taking lessons for a little over two years.  I also plan to start teaching myself guitar soon.

What other instrument(s) would you like to play?

I am dying to play violin!  I also have my heart set on playing harp, and of course, guitar!:D

Do you like to sing?

YES!!!  I am OBSSESSED with singing!  It’s my dream to become a singer, or to at least make CDs in the future, if it’s the Lord’s will.  Though I am planning on getting a degree in nursing first as something to fall back on.

Do you take vocal lessons?

Not currently, but I’ve been starting to talk to my mom about it, and she said eventually I should be able to, just not quite yet. 😉  I’m super pumped at the thought of it though!:D

Have you written any songs?

Yes I have!  Four completed songs, and some bits and pieces of others.  One, called Battered, I’ve put to music on the piano.  One of my best friends and I wrote a piano duet together called Prima Luce(Latin for “at dawn” or “first light”), though it has no words to it.

What is your favorite music genre?

My church mainly sings hyms, but my favorite genre of music is Christian contemporary. 🙂

Who is your favorite artist?

I have several that I love, though my top favorite would definitely have to be Kari Jobe(SHE IS SOOO AMAZING)!!
